Custom Orders

Current wait time for new custom orders is approximately 3-6 weeks

Please expect extended wait times on large custom orders and custom bags. 

 

Shipping and Processing Policy

Each item is created one at a time. Orders are processed on a first come first serve basis. None custom Items purchased from our website are made and ready to be packed and shipped. They usually ship within 3 business days.

 

The turnaround time for custom orders is subject to change especially during times of high site traffic and holidays. For orders with multiple items or larger items, the turnaround time may be longer.  Feel free to reach out via email with any questions about the current wait time on orders.

 

I do not offer a production priority option.

 

All items are shipped USPS priority mail or USPS first class-priority mail within the United States.

 

Color Disclaimer

Mortal Hands Leather makes every effort to ensure that the color and texture of the product images displayed on our website are as close as possible to the color and texture of the product you will receive.

 

Be aware that all of our products are made from full grain natural leather, an animal byproduct, and because of this slight discoloration, scratches, scars, markings, or change in texture may be visible.  These small inconsistencies should not be considered a defect but rather add to the beauty and uniqueness of your item.

 

Please also be aware that every mobile, tablet, laptop and pc screen has individual color, brightness and contrast settings and therefore the actual color of the product may vary slightly from your monitor/screen.

 

Refund Policy

Mortal Hands Leather is currently a one man show so refunds can be detrimental to my business. Therefore refunds will be issued on a case by case basis at my discretion. No refunds on custom orders. Returns may be accepted if the item is a stock item and the item is unused in new condition. Customer pays for return shipping and a restocking fee of 15% of purchase price.  The item will be inspected upon receiving the return. If the item has been used or has signs of wear the refund will not be issued and the item will be shipped back to the customer. If the item does not fit the requirements for a return the item will not be refunded. Refund cases must be started within 15 days of delivery. I want every customer to be completely satisfied with their order, so if you feel the item you have received is faulty in the way of its construction please reach out.

 

Each product is made from full grain leather which is an animal byproduct. This means there may be markings like scratches, scuffs, discoloration, scars, and creases from fat lines. Mortal Hands Leather makes an effort to avoid using areas of the leather with major issues although most of these characteristics are part of what makes each piece unique and beautiful. These characteristics should not be viewed as flaws and are not a reason for returning a product except under extreme situations. Mortal Hands Leather reserves the right to accept or deny a return for any reason.

 

Each piece is made one at a time with care and attention, but mistakes happen.  If you think something is wrong with your order please reach out via email at Mortalhandsleather@gmail.com to start a return or exchange request. I'm sure we can work something out!

 

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from mortalhandsleather.com. 

Personal information we collect 
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers ), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”. 


When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information. 

How do we use your personal information? 
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to: 
- Communicate with you; 
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and 
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. 


We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). 


Sharing your personal Information 
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below. 

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States. 

Data retention 
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. 

Changes 
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
